Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you put your name on the city map.
What is The Mobsters?
The Mobsters is a persistent browser-based social crime RPG. Build a character, run Jobs and Missions, take Heists, acquire Rackets, fight rivals, join a Crew, collect gear and push toward level 255.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The game runs in a modern web browser. You can also add it to your home screen as a web app on supported devices.
Does my character keep progressing when I leave?
Rackets continue building collectible income up to the configured collection cap, while Health, Energy, Stamina and Heat continue regenerating or cooling according to their timers.
What is the difference between Jobs, Missions and Heists?
Jobs are fast repeatable work. Missions form longer chapter progression with Mastery. Heists are higher-risk scores that spend both Energy and Stamina, pay more and carry cooldowns and stronger failure consequences.
How does equipment work?
Your active loadout has one Weapon, one Armor piece, one Vehicle and one Accessory. Only items equipped in those four active slots contribute their bonuses.
Can other players take all of my money?
Combat and racket raids are limited by game rules. Banking protects cash from ordinary fight theft, and racket protection windows prevent the same operation from being farmed continuously.
What are Favor Points?
Favor is a special in-game resource used for selected refills, class changes and other opportunities. Favor has no cash-out value.
What happens at level 255?
Level 255 is the current progression cap. You can still compete for Respect, achievements, crew standing, territory control, collections and other long-term goals.
How does fair play work?
Important street actions are checked before they resolve, including inventory ownership, loadouts, payouts, cooldowns and combat state. Automated abuse, altered requests and exploit attempts can be rejected or restricted.
